Hi I’m Helen, I teach yoga in our home studio to the local community.
I offer Mindful Vinyasa, Yin, Yoga Nidra & Chair Yoga classes.
Yoga practices offer us a way to calm & de-stress from modern life, with its constant stimulation, emphasis on being eternally busy & sedentary work. Using breath work, physical postures & meditation we can centre ourselves, listen to our own needs work out our values & purpose in life.
I teach because I adore the discipline & I think it has so much to offer everyone & anyone. I hope my classes will enable you to enjoy yoga, to feel its benefits & understand your mind & body better. I encourage students to work at their own pace, feel their way into poses & know that their bodies are totally unique & whatever feels right for them is their ‘perfect’ .
My husband Nick & I built a photography studio behind our house in 2011, it has high ceilings, great natural light & its own driveway in North Kingston. When the build was complete I realised it made a fantastic yoga studio, this encouraged me to Yoga Teacher Training & realise a long held dream.

Yoga has been consistent in my life since my early 20’s & now I’m super happy to share a modern take on this ancient practice. I have a weekly schedule of 10+ classes, regular day retreats & workshops. My classes are creative in their sequencing & change weekly in emphasis.
The studio fits 14 mats including mine, so classes are small & friendly. I have mats, bricks, straps & other props you are welcome to use. You can book classes one at a time or as a monthly block. The studio is used during the day for our photography businesses so classes are mainly Mondays, weekday evenings & the weekend although I have a Friday lunchtime ‘pop up’ class as & when.
